LAND SURVEYOR / SURVEYING TECHNICIAN
We are currently looking for qualified individuals who have a working knowledge of field survey methods. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter capable of leading a crew efficiently and accurately in data collection.
In addition, the successful candidate should be able to interpret survey data, prepare maps and reports, and conduct legal research to answer questions about property boundaries. Strong communication skills are a must, as the Land Surveyor / Surveying Technician coordinates with other professionals such as engineers and architects, as well as clients and the public. Fieldwork is a significant part of this role, so candidates should be prepared for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Experience with surveying software and technology, including advanced surveying and GPS instruments, is highly advantageous. We are particularly interested in candidates who not only have a keen attention to detail but also possess problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Preferred Qualifications:

Surveying Technology Associates degree or higher

Experience in deed research, boundary surveys, topographic surveys , transportation surveys, as-built surveys, construction stakeout and calculations

Knowledge of Carlson Survey, Carlson Civil Suite, and AutoCAD.
