Over the years we've provided several informative workshops and trainings for colleagues and local professionals, conducted event presentations at the request of partner organizations, and faciliated educational programs for high school students throughout Fayette County, PA.

Fayette Speaker Series
Terry McMillen Sr. discussed his professional experiences as an entrepreneur, Professional Engineer, and Professional Land Survey during the first installment of the Fayette Speaker Series at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus on Sept. 18, 2019.
Fayette County Stormwater Workshop
McMillen Engineering partnered with Fayette County and it's Conservation District to host a stormwater workshop on October 10, 2019. Participants had the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, meet with vendors, and build a rain barrel to gain perspective about the implications from stormwater.
Presentation For Students
McMillen Engineering faciliated a presentation for local junior high and high school students to hear about how an education in engineering can lead to a lucrative professional career.
Engineering Explorers Post
McMillen Engineering, Inc. and Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus collaborated for more than thirty years to offer the Engineering Explorers Post. The program introduced high school students to the fields of engineering and land surveying with the hope of encouraging future generations of professionals.
Training Workshops (In-Person & Virtual)
McMillen Engineering has hosted several professional development workshops that have provided learning opportunities for our clients, partners, and colleagues. Topics have included Electrical Code, Building Inspection, Stormwater, Sustainable Roofing, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveying.
